On the morning of April 10, 2025, the China-SCO Conference on Industrial Cooperation for Sustainable Development, guided by the Ministry of Commerce of China and co-hosted by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), Tianjin Municipal Commerce Bureau, and Binhai New Area Government, grandly commenced in Binhai, Tianjin. Mr. Jiang Lei, President of China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC), was invited to attend the opening ceremony and plenary sessions.

On the afternoon of April 10th, as a leading enterprise in the international development of China's non-ferrous metals industry, NFC was invited by CCCME to co-host a thematic conference on mining and petrochemical cooperation. President Jiang Lei attended the conference and delivered a speech.

President Jiang expressed gratitude for the support and assistance from CCCME, the Tianjin Municipal Commerce Bureau, and the Binhai New Area Government. He stated that NFC has consistently and actively responded to China’s Belt and Road Initiative, participating in mechanisms such as China-ASEAN cooperation, SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) economic and trade collaboration, and the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). By leveraging bilateral and multilateral cooperation frameworks and the backing of Chinese financial institutions, NFC has integrated its strengths to engage in international mining engineering contracts, mining investments, and infrastructure construction, leading to rapid growth in its international contracting business. In the future, NFC will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with outstanding enterprises worldwide, contributing actively to mining development and infrastructure construction in SCO member countries.

Mr. Zhang Pingfa, Vice President of Chifeng NFC Baiyinnuoer Mining Co.Ltd, delivered a keynote speech titled "Technological Innovation and Digital Management Practices for Green, Efficient Mining and Comprehensive Resource Utilization" upon invitation. This thematic conference attracted nearly 200 participants, including representatives from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, and the Eurasian Fund.

During the event, President Jiang Lei held separate meetings with representatives from Uzbekistan’s Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (Almalyk MMC) and a delegation headed by Mr. Hu Liang, Deputy Director of Tianjin Dongjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, conducting in-depth discussions on relevant projects and collaborations.

Representatives from the Marketing Center of NFC also participated in this event.
