Winning the international competitive bidding, NFC (Shenyang) Pump Industry Co., Ltd. (NSPI) signed the diaphragm pump supply contract for Shenwei coal pipeline transportation project with its EPC contractor Wuhan Design & Research Institute of China Coal Technology & Engineering Group (CCTEG) on December12, 2012. The contract volume totaled RMB363 million for 30 sets of triple-cylinder single-acting diaphragm pumps manufactured by NSPI.

The Shenwei coal pipeline transportation project is one of the key projects for national economic transformation and energy strategy, finding domestic coal transportation a promising new way with considerable economic and social significance. As the world's longest coal pipeline transportation project under construction, this project has a pipeline design length of 727 km with an annual transportation capacity of 10 mt of clean coal. On the main line it is designed 5 pump stations, each of which equips 6 sets of diaphragm pumps, a world record on the number of pump linkage.
