On 24th Febuary, 2015, under the witness from representatives of Egyptian owner, Tenova CORE (US rotating hearth calciner technology provider) and NFC, the 300kt/a coke calcining plant was put into production in Egypt.

Started in August 2011, the project has won satisfaction from the owner by its on-time quality construction and successful ignition startup. As the first phase of a larger plan, the successful completion of the project sets a solid foundation for phase II arrangement. The owner is preparing to sign phase II project agreement with NFC, which is expected to continue to play its role as general contractor.
