Mr.Wang Hongqian, President of NFC, was invited to attend the high-level dialogue between Chinese and African leaders and business representatives, as well as the opening ceremony of the sixth China-Africa Business Conference on the morning of September 3rd.

At the conference, more than 2000 government and business representatives from China and Africa held in-depth exchanges on such topics as industrial, trade and infrastructure cooperation. Pragmatic dialogues between China-Africa entrepreneurs are conducted and a range of policy suggestions for promoting cooperation between China and Africa are put forward, which provide important references for Chinese and African leaders and business circles to make decisions.

As one of the first Chinese enterprises to enter the field of mining in Africa, NFC has made notable achievements in engineering contracting and resource development in a dozen of African countries for many years. President Wang Hongqian introduced that NFC actively respond to the "Belt and Road" initiative, vigorously implement the company strategy of "focusing on resources, internationalization, and high-end", promote China-Africa cooperation, and create a number of quality projects that build the company brand, such as The KCM Copper Shaft-sinking Project in Zambia, the Congo (DRC) RTR Copper Project and the Egypt Carbon Project. These projects demonstrate the exemplary role of State-owned enterprises in driving economic and social development in Africa and facilitating mutual benefit and common development for China and Africa.

In the afternoon, President Wang Hongqian attended the opening ceremony of the Beijing Summit of the China-Africa Forum, and was invited to attend the CEO high-level dialogue on September 4th, during which he had extensive and in-depth exchanges with Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs.
