On the afternoon of 26th June, 2021, the first furnace of anode copper was produced successfully in the Lao Cai Copper Smelting Plant, the expansion project NFC has been working on in Vietnam. This successful production not only wins the Owner’s recognition, but also serves as a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.
he project of Expanding Lao Cai copper Smelting Plant is a key project of Vietnam. The project is located in Lao Cai province, Vietnam. The contract scope covers design, equipment supply and installation, commissioning and technical services.
Since the commissioning in March, 2021, all the project personnel have overcome the difficulties caused by COVID-19, adoped a series of measures to speed up project construction, restored the channel of equipment delivery and personnel dispatch, and managed to achieve successes in both COVID-19 prevention and project implementation.
