NFC (Indonesia) Dairi Prima Mineral Co., Ltd., a controlling subsidiary of NFC, is currently carrying out the engineering construction work for the Dairi Prima Lead-Zinc Mine Project in Indonesia.

The Dairi Prima Lead-Zinc Mine Project is located in the northwest of Sumatra Island, Indonesia, about 120 km away from Medan, the third largest city in Indonesia, and the Mine is one of the world's undeveloped high-grade large-scale lead-zinc deposits. The Mine is underground, with a designed production capacity of 1 million tons/year. After the Phase-I construction and operation, more than 225,000 t/year of zinc concentrate and 105,000 t/year of lead concentrate can be produced, making it an important lead-zinc production base in the world.

The Dairi Prima Project is the first "investment, construction and operation" integration project of NFC in the process of actively implementing the "Belt and Road Initiative” in Indonesia, the starting country of the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road". After the project operation, the demand pressure of zinc and lead in China can be effectively alleviated, the export of large-scale complete sets of equipment for China's non-ferrous industry to the Indonesian market will be promoted, and the cooperation in the mining field between the two countries will be facilitated, which is of great significance for local economic development and improving people's livelihood.
