Vietnam Tangloong Copper Smelter Project, a cooperation project between the governments of China and Vietnam, is located in the Tangloong Industrial Zone in B?o Th?ng County, Lao CAI Province, Vietnam, close to the Sino-Vietnamese border, with the designed production scale of 10,000 t/a cathode copper, 40,000 t/a sulfuric acid, 350 kg/a gold and 150 kg/a silver. NFC undertook the engineering design, equipment procurement, technical guidance of construction, installation and test run, and other work. The operation of the Tangloong Copper Smelter not only ended the history of Vietnam's inability to produce copper, but also symbolized the first export of China's proprietary copper smelting process, laying a solid foundation for further development of international engineering contracting market in Vietnam.
