The JAJARM Alumina Plant in Iran is a landmark project, in which China's internationally-advanced bauxite dissolution technology is adopted to transform the original production system, so as to help Iran produce the first ton of alumina. In the Project, the local ore from Iran is used to produce alumina, solving the problems that some developed countries failed to overcome, saving USD 80 million for Iran that year, and providing the employment opportunities for nearly 1,000 people. Meanwhile, China's advanced and mature alumina technology has won high praise from counterparts in the world.
