NFC signed an engineering design service contract with Vedanta Aluminum Ltd. on February 29, 2008, stipulating that Chinese technology and experience would be adopted in the Plant to resolve the bottleneck problems affecting the output of each process. NFC was responsible for the design and field service of the Project, and the main equipment in the Reconstruction Project were those made in China.
