The contract of Dariba Lead Plant Project in India was signed on May 9, 2008 by Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL). The Project is located in Dariba Mine, Rajasthan, India, and the bottom-blowing furnace in the main plant was put into operation in July 2011, with the product scale of 100,000 t/a 99.99% refined lead, 100,000 t/a sulfuric acid with the purity more than 98%, 300 t/a 1# silver and zinc, copper, antimony, bismuth and other by-products. The oxygen bottom-blowing lead smelting technology of China ENFI Engineering Co., Ltd. was adopted. The Project is the first general contracting project of NFC in India, and also the first overseas lead smelting project with China's own intellectual property rights undertaken by Chinese enterprise.
