On December 12, 2014, NFC signed a contract with Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of KazMunaiGas (KMG), for the equipment supply in the Kazakhstan Delayed Coking Project. After the reconstruction, the processing capacity increased from 500,000 t/a to 925,000 t/a, and the petroleum coke production capacity increased from 140,000 t/a to 280,000 t/a. The Project ran from December 12, 2014 to October 20, 2015, and it is the first project contracted by NFC in the petrochemical field.
